WOOD POINT’s product range also includes energy wood products – wood chip briquettes and pellets produced by our cooperation partners. Both briquettes and pellets are characterised by high heat output, low ash content and a long, even burning time. They are easy to transport and store.

Wood chip briquettes are ecological and high-quality fuel produced from wood chips. They are ground and compressed to a dense mass, forming a cylindrical or angular shape. During the pressing of birch chips, the wood releases a natural binder, lignin that helps maintain the shape of the briquettes. Briquettes can be used in any solid fuel boiler, also in fireplaces and for lighting the grill. Wood chip briquettes are becoming more and more popular due to their more convenient transportation, storage and easier lighting process, which is especially suitable for stoves and fireplaces in living rooms and summerhouses.

Wood chip pellets are an energy-efficient and ecological fuel that, like briquettes, are produced from wood chips. The production process is analogous to briquettes, the difference is in size – the pellets are smaller and always have a cylindrical shape. Pellets are used in special automated pellet heating boilers.
