DURELIS

DURELIS is a versatile moisture-resistant particleboard for use in both load-bearing structures and ancillary buildings. It is a great alternative to traditional OSB. Unlike conventional board materials, DURELIS sheets are suitable for use in high humidity conditions – in the construction of roofs, basements and external walls. The unique composition of the material ensures moisture resistance – the boards will not swell or change their dimensions.

DURELIS boards comply with the requirements of EN standard 335-3 2, ensuring that they are also used in accordance with biohazard class 1.

DURELIS characteristics:

  • high moisture resistance – this is due to the increased amount of natural paraffin on the surface of the board, which prevents the sheets from swelling;
  • high mechanical strength – more flexible and stronger than OSB;
  • smooth surface – for easier finishing, painting and gluing;
  • easy handling – easy to saw and mill, handy to handle with hand tools.

The technical properties of DURELIS offer a wide range of possibilities for the use of these boards in different types of building construction. They are ideal for other applications where load-bearing is required, such as interior finishes, floors and walls. Thanks to the very smooth surface of the boards, they can also be used for concrete works as a disposable or reusable formwork material.

Use of DURELIS:

  • construction – wall and ceiling finishes, temporary structures;
  • floor construction – special DURELIS T&G4 spun bonded sheets, which ensure the stability of the joints and reduce the possibility of surface deformation;
  • roofing – the high moisture resistance allows use as an underlay;
  • furniture and packaging – products that require smooth surfaces and high moisture resistance;
  • industrial construction – modular buildings, warehouses, container walls and floors.

DURELIS sheets are available in standard sizes to suit different building widths. The standard boards have straight edges, but T&G4 four-sided spun boards are also available for ease of installation and structural strength.
